sunshine and saltwater

Snapshots from a trip to the beach earlier this week. I’m hoping for a summer filled with plenty of days like this. Also, for those who don’t have Instagram, you can keep up with all of my photos on Followgram or Instagrid.

  1. Maybe you could send some of that lovely Queensland weather down to Sydney?? I live right near the beach and can't enjoy it because the weather has been so bad! Lol 🙂

  2. @amy: thank you Amy 🙂

@Michelle: Oh no, that's just like one big giant beach tease! Right now it's rainy, but I'll try and send some sunshine down when it comes back out again haha

  3. I was just going to say exactly the same thing as Michelle. We have had nothing but horrible weather here in Sydney.

At least I can look at your pictures and pretend I'm at the beach. Wishing you many many more lovely beach outings.

  4. Why is Queensland weather so divine and Sydney weather is so angry? Beautiful photos by the way. I can't wait until the rain clears up so I can hit the beach as well!

  5. @Carmen: thanks. Wishing you better weather in Sydney too 🙂

@Anh: oh it's not always so great, apparently it' going to be one of our wettest summers yet! Just lapping up the sunshine while I still can.

@Rachel: you know what, I wouldn't actually mind BEING back in London – I think the novelty of a wintry Christmas would make up for the rain and grey haha. Swap?

@Kiara: yeah, gotta make the most of them while they're here!

@Kallie: not obnoxious at all. My friend's English bf is visiting and experiencing his first ever summer Christmas and he's pretty much been saying the same thing haha.

  6. I'm very jealous that you are spending Christmas on a beach, whilst it is blowing a gale here! Hope that you're having a lovely time xx

  7. Such summery vibe you caught with your photos! lovely!
We spend Christmas on the beach but it was actually chilly and raining!
We're going to camp tonight to welcome the New Year under the stars and hopefully will have some of this sultry weather tomorrow!

Brilliant 2012 to you Soph!! Big dreams! x
