just add glitter: diy glitter sunglasses

It’s taken me long enough, but I finally DIY’d a pair of glitter sunglasses. So now you can add this DIY to the sea of other glitter sunglasses tutorials that flooded the internet shortly after *those* Miu Miu sunglasses came into existence. As far as DIYs go, this one’s pretty simple, just be prepared to keep finding glitter particles everywhere for the rest of your life (that’s only if you’re lazy with the cleaning up, like me).
What you need:
– Sunglasses (mine are from Oasap/rip offs of the KW Number One frames)
– Glitter (I only needed a fraction of one packet)
– Clear drying glue
– Masking tape
– Paint brush
– Sealing spray
Instructions:
1. Tape up the lenses.
2. Brush glue onto the frames. Sprinkle with glitter. Let dry.
3. Repeat the previous step until frames are fully covered. I found two coats were enough.
4. Spray with the sealer, remembering to do so in a well ventilated area etc.
5. Remove tape.
Ta-da!

  1. How amazing! I've thought of doing something like that, maybe in spring..! I also wanted to do that with shoes but I still haven't…!
