book of deer

I was introduced to Book of Deer by the designer behind the brand, Eilidh Ho. Her debut S/S 2012 collection, pictured above, is inspired by the Mori Girls of Japan and features a range of chiffon pieces digitally printed with her own hand drawn illustrations. The illustrations range from simple floral motifs to quirky bird disguises (you can read the story behind each illustration: here). The Book of Deer designs for the quietly iconoclastic girl with an active imagination, spinning a tale into every garment and encouraging the wearer to keep her head in the clouds”. If you like spinning tales and keeping your head in the clouds, you’re in luck because Book of Deer have recently launched an online boutique. My picks from the collection would be the Foxglove Bird Disguise blouse and anything with a Peter Pan collar, i.e. pretty much everything.

  1. Oh. my. I want it all, all the dresses have peter pan collars and they are so cute. The photos are really pretty too. I hope there'll be much – much more!
