Dreaming of a sixties vacation, à la Paule Ka’s spring/summer 2012 campaign. Starring Jessica Stam and shot by Venetia Scott, this is the third episode in a series of retro inspired campaigns following the travels of the Paule Ka woman. The spring/summer 2011 campaign starring Guinevere van Seenus started the journey in Palm Springs while the autum/winter campaign featuring Eniko Mihalik took us to The Carlyle Hotel in New York. This season sees her jetting off to Acapulco and the Hotel Boca Chica. I quite like this form of continuity and storytelling in a campaign as it somewhat reinforces the designer’s aesthetic and vision for the brand.
