festival edit: laneway

I was browsing the ASOS website and noticed that the Australian site had a special summer festival edit. This got me a bit excited, but when I went to have a look at their picks I found it all a bit lacking. I’m going to Laneway Festival in a few weeks, and their Laneway edit didn’t really seem very ‘Laneway’ to me. It probably also doesn’t help that their picks were more winter weather appropriate, and right now in Brisbane we’re experiencing some sweltering summer days. So I thought I’d put together my own list of more appropriate Laneway-inspired gear from the site. Which festivals, if any, are you going to this summer?

8.ASOS Animal Print Watch (so you can keep track of when your fave bands are playing)
9.ASOS Figaro Sandals (all the Laneways I’ve been to have been chilled enough for sandals)

  2. I love the Antipodium dress! Have you been to The Loft's closing down sale, they've got Antipodium for half price. And as for festivals, I thought I was going to Vietnam next month so I ruled any entertainment spending out. But that fell through so festivals are on the cards again! Do you think you'll go to Splendour Sophie?

    1. And M83 and The Drums and Feist and AHHHH thinking about the lineup gets me so excited. Coachella is definitely a bucket list kind of thing. Volunteering is always a good idea. I volunteered once to help set up the artsy stuff at a festival and got paid in free tickets – best deal ever!

  8. Great pick! I would happily wear any of that to a festival. Well, except for the tiny tiny shorts, I'm too self conscious to wear that 🙂 Now, I'll just have to resist the temptation to click on the images and buy them…
