twenty-seven names: ss11/12

Twenty-seven Names. SS11/12. “Still Waters Run Deep”.
Another season and another charming collection from twenty-seven names. These are just a few of my favourite looks from the spring/summer 2011/12 lookbook. Everything about this collection exudes wearability. The loose-fitting chiffon pieces are perfect for the summer months and the cuffed chinos are an exercise in utilitarian cool. The heart print fabric keeps it all playful and adds a dash of girlish charm that is so synonymous with the twenty-seven names aesthetic. Thank goodness that this spring/summer collection won’t drop for a few months yet – it’ll give me enough time to save up for one of those heart print dresses! I might give the socks and sandals a miss though – that’s just a bit too high school sport for my liking.

  1. I just adore that sheer croppet top with the peter pan collar that she seems to be wearing over a dress.
the heart print dress with the collar is gorgeous too!

  2. Ohhh no i LOVE the socks and sandals 🙂 So cute. But maybe it's a kiwi thing?? haha. And i have to agree, this is one of my favourite local brands and everything they produce is always amazing, but this collection in particular makes me swoon. Bows and cute prints, wearable pieces, button-up dresses, collars… ah bliss.

  3. @herecomesthesun: haha no, it gets done here in Aus too. I used to do it all the time in my high school sport days. Maybe that's why. It conjures up too many memories of sweaty sports halls and day long sporting competitions!

  4. I love this collection – simple but amazing!

BTW, I'm in love with your blog and I wonder if we can follow each other..? what do you think ? even if no, I will be your follower <3
