gorman: winter 2011

Gorman. Winter 2011.
I don’t know where to start with this collection. I love it all. ALL. From the colour palette to the busy patterns, Gorman’s winter 2011 collection is chock full of what I want to be wearing right now. If Claudia from The Babysitter’s Club grew up to become a fashion designer (and was, more importantly, a real person) then this collection would have her name written all over it.

  1. Never heard of this brand before but I love it! Thank you for introducing it – and loved your comment about The Babysitters Club – so so true!

  2. ahh, i love it too! i actually bought my winter coat from gorman. it's not featured in the lookbook, but it's navy "paddington bear" coat with giant pom poms.

and you are spot on with the claudia reference.

  3. Spot on with the Claudia comment. Claudia Kishi is my style goddess. I like the unexpected colour combos in this. And of course, the heels and socks are extra man repelling meaning totally awesome.

  4. this collection reminds me of a Marni B line. No offensive intent – the colection is beautiful – it's an observation… all the magpie layering, vintage colorways, etc.
