the arbour

Arbour
Bougainvilleas
Blue skies seem like a distant memory these days. These were taken in November of last year. My summer is desperately in need of more days like this – lazy afternoons spent in beer gardens followed by leisurely walks along bougainvillea lined paths.

  1. I agree!! This "summer" is so depressing. Sick of the rain in Brisbane. I'm boycotting Southbank until the sun comes back 🙂 ha

    They're such lovely photos of south bank!

  2. @AlwaysChasing: it is most certainly Southbank!

    @wikigirl: would you believe that as I started typing, IT BEGAN POURING DOWN WITH MORE RAIN. Ridiculous!

    @robynadams: what a coincidence!

    @blackswan: that would be quite nice. Unfortunately due to the high traffic in the area you would get trampled on haha

    @Jessica: agreed!

  3. beautiful photographs, i adore the blurred effect.

    i so love what you were wearing in your last post too, the skirt is a lovely shade of pink and you suit light colours so well 🙂

    xx

  4. wow those are pretty!! it makes me a little bit jealous! days are grey now in madrid 🙁

    and your diana mini rocks! mine apparently doesn't make that effects!

  5. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog <3

    These photos are beautiful! I hope you will have many more blue skies and lazy afternoons this summer~

  6. sooo gorgeous. Im looking forward to autumn times…. hurry hurry hurry. I want to run around in the leaves x

  7. @curiousconstellation: That would get a bit tiresome! Usually we get summers like that too but this year its all very monsoonal. Keep cool!

    @Vicky: it'll be here before you know it, I bet! I'm quite looking forward to re-doing summer in the UK haha

    @Sophia: great minds think alike!

    @Barbara: really? I do remember that I had these on the wrong focus settings so maybe that played a part? Sometimes I wish my Diana photos came out a bit clearer but hey, it's all fun and games isn't it?

    @Sara: I could see how that could happen – especially in the more colder/snowy parts!

  8. WOW i love the colors in these photos. thy match together so well and i love that it has a vintagey feel to it. keep up the good work!

    sincerely,
